STRATEGY
TSD will work closely with your team to create clear direction that will lead the organization to IDEAL STATE.
TSD believes that without strategies there will only be chaos. TSD works with organizations in order to develop strategy based off the DATA.
Utilizing Value Stream Mapping, Hoshin Kanri (”Direction” & “Management”) or a Road Map, TSD will partner with your team in aligning all the functions and disciplines within the organization.
Alignment within the organization will provide the best path for achieving excellence by ensuring communication and understanding.
LEAN MANAGEMENT
Utilize Lean Management principles to create an environment that relies on delivering value from the Customer’s perspective, eliminating waste and building a culture based on continuous improvement.
Lean Management optimizes processes by reducing time spent on non-value-added activities (7-wastes) and embracing problem solving analysis to identify root causes of poor quality and defects within the value stream.
LEAN TOOLS
There are several Lean tools in Lean that can be utilized to address the challenges within an organization. Together, the tools are very capable of providing an organization significant transformation.
The key to Lean tools is to understand which ones are relevant in addressing each organization’s opportunities. Implementation of the tools is a simple process of training and then using the tools to start the transformation.

TSD believes in the Shingijutsu philosophy of FAIL FAST, LEARN QUICKLY where “FAIL” is a “First Attempt In Learning”. Using the tools will take practice and sustainment, but the outcomes will be worth the effort.
PEOPLE
Lean is about PEOPLE coming together with open minds and hearts to drive change within their environment.
Talk to anyone and they will say the same thing; “Our employees are our most important asset”… and they are right! Unfortunately, not all environments are actually set up to support, empower, and retain their employees.
Traditional business structure has resulted in an often vertical power structure that accepts minimal input from employees down the line, making it difficult to improve processes in a timely manner. A Lean team addresses this problem by empowering each team member to make decisions and facilitate change.
TSD empowers a workforce by providing the tools, techniques, and training needed in order to optimize each person’s performance by building onto their strengths. Each individual will have unique strengths and skill sets that can be optimized, providing enhanced feelings of belonging, pride and the sense of being essential to business success.
TSD understands that without employee empowerment businesses are leaving their ”…most important asset…” to the chance that they may leave due to feeling alone and underutilized, with no road to personal improvement.
